Marriott agree to donate dumped bedding to animals

The Marriott hotel have donated bundles of old bedding to dog rescue centres following complaints that quilts had been dumped in a skip.
Passersby first noticed the pile of quilts dumped in the hotel car park on St John’s Lane on Saturday afternoon.
The skip was still overflowing with the bedding today, and many people on social media said it should have been donated to homeless people in the city or various charities.
After being approached by a member of the public, the Marriott have agreed to let dog rescue centres come and collect the bedding.
