Investors who kept faith with UK plc have been amply rewarded with the FTSE recovering strongly following the initial referendum shock. Investor confidence has hit a new high for 2016, according to the latest Lloyds Bank Investor Sentiment Index.
Markus Stadlmann, chief investment officer at Lloyds Private Banking, said: “All UK asset classes have increased in sentiment, signalling that investor confidence in the UK economy is rebounding.”
