Mark Carney might not be Bank of England Govenor for long, says Geoff Ho
 

Carney, who was appointed with great fanfare by former Chancellor George Osborne in November 2012, will soon announce whether or not he will serve his full eight-year term as the head of Britain’s central bank. 
Originally he said he intended to serve for only five years. 
The odds of him leaving Threadneedle Street early must have fallen on Friday, when he launched an extraordinary attack on May and told an audience in Birmingham that he would not “take instruction” from politicians on how to do his job.
