Maria Sharapova faces an anxious race to make Wimbledon 2017 after being handed permission to resume her tennis career next spring, getting her two-year ban for taking Meldonium reduced from two years to 15 months.
The former world No 1 will be allowed back onto the WTA Tour from April 26 next year, thanks to a successful appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport which was announced on Tuesday afternoon.
