Marcus Rashford will make history with Manchester United if he wins this year’s Golden Boy award.
The 18-year-old is on the 40-man shortlist for the award, which has been running since 2003 and receives votes from journalists representing 30 major newspapers across Europe.
Rashford is up against the likes of Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches, who won Euro 2016 with Portugal in the summer, Tottenham’s Dele Alli, Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi and Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho.
