Manchester United's bore draw with Liverpool gives Sky best viewing figures for three years to arrest 19 per cent drop in TV audience this season 



The reports of Sky Sports viewing figures' death appear to have been greatly exaggerated after the broadcaster drew their biggest single-match audience for three years on Monday night.
A peak figure of more than 3million tuned in to see Manchester United park a very expensive bus in front of Liverpool's misfiring attack, with an average of 2.8m football fans watching the game at any given time.
The figures are in direct contrast to the revelations last week that Sky's numbers are substantially down compared to this time last year.
