Manchester United eye plans to increase Old Trafford capacity to 88,000
 

Manchester United chiefs are examining ways to increase the Old Trafford capacity to 88,000.
The home of the Red Devils is already the biggest in British club football but if the plans receive the go-ahead, it would make the Theatre of Dreams the second biggest capacity in all UK sport.
Old Trafford currently has a capacity of 75,643 but the proposed increase of 12,000 would be met by extending the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand, which used to be known as the South Stand, reports Mail Online.
