Manchester United 1-0 Brighton: Ashley Young ends 18-month goal drought and earns three points to keep the pressure on Premier League leaders City



Ashley Young scored his first goal for 18 months as Jose Mourinho's side finally broke down stubborn Brighton resistance to move within five points of Premier League leaders Manchester City.
Old Trafford was getting impatient when Young's shot from the edge of the penalty area deflected off Lewis Dunk's outstretched boot and past Albion goalkeeper Mat Ryan.
It was just reward for Young whose performances since switching to left-back this season have earned an England recall.
