Man who tried to dodge paying train fare from Burton assaults conductor
 

A man who was trying to get out of paying for a train fare from Burton to Nottingham pushed a train conductor and verbally abused him, a court has heard.
Shaun Lupton assaulted the victim who tried to eject him from the train at Derby's Midland Railway Station.
South Derbyshire Magistrates' Court heard how the Cross Country Trains worker asked to see Lupton's ticket between Burton and Derby. However, when the 49-year-old said he did not have enough money, he was ordered off.
