Man who robbed travel agents with fake gun and knives could face life sentence
 

A man who robbed travel agents with an imitation gun and knives was warned he could face a life sentence.
Alan Roberts, 44, of Stowford Close, West Derby, targeted shops in Moreton , West Kirby and Crosby.
He also struck at branches in Frodsham and Knutsford in Cheshire, in Huddersfield, and in Leek, Staffordshire.
Liverpool Crown Court heard the offences all took place between July and September this year.
Roberts, with short grey hair and wearing a blue sweatshirt, admitted six counts of robbery and one attempted robbery.
