Man ‘who drove at police then pulled 4ft sword’ at Buckingham Palace faces terror charge
 

A man carrying a 4ft sword who was apprehended near Buckingham Palace has been charged with a terror offence.
Mohiussunnath Choudhury, allegedly drove a car at police officers outside the royal residence, before reaching for his 4ft sword on Friday.
It has been reported that he shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ at officers.
The 26-year-old, from Luton, has been charged with engaging in the preparation to commit an act or acts of terrorism on Constitution Hill on August 25.
Three officers suffered minor injuries after he allegedly drove towards police guarding the Palace.
