Man wanted in connection with an alleged attempted murder hands himself in
 

A man wanted in connection with an attempted murder has handed himself in to police.
A manhunt was launched for Graham Clarke after a 25-year-old man suffered several stab wounds in the Forster Street area of Consett .
The injured man was taken to the RVI but has been discharged and is now recovering.
Durham Police had been urging anyone with information on Mr Clarke’s whereabouts to get in touch, but he handed himself in on Thursday night and is now helping police with their inquiries.
