Man 'used mirror as a weapon' in assault on partner
 

A man has been locked up for 12 months after he kicked and stamped on his partner at their Sherwood home.
Arron Curwood, 21, caught her right hand as he struck out at her with a bread knife and used a mirror as a weapon after hitting her over the head with it.
Curwood was sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court on Friday to 12 months for assault causing actual bodily harm and one month concurrently for two previous assaults on her.
After the offences, he was bailed to an address in Woodside Road in Lenton Abbey.
