Man threated station staff after they intervened to stop him hitting kitten
 

A man threatened railway staff in Wirral after they intervened to stop him hitting a kitten.
The incident happened at Birkenhead Park station at around 10.40am on Monday, September 26.
British Transport Police said staff at the station became concerned when they heard an animal screeching in pain outside.
When they went to investigate, they saw a man smacking the animal.
