Man suspected of planning bomb attack found dead in German jail
Rolf Jacob, the head of the prison where 22-year-old bomb suspect Jaber Albakr was held, told reporters in Dresden that a trainee guard checked on the prisoner at 7.30pm on Wednesday, and that when he returned for another check at 7.45pm he found Albakr hanging lifeless.
Attempts to revive Albakr were unsuccessful, and a doctor declared him dead a half hour later, said Saxony Justice Minister Sebastian Gemkow.
