Man suffers 'life-threatening injuries' after being crushed by car in Driffield



A man has "potentially life-threatening injuries" after he was crushed by a car on a driveway.
The man was in Highfield Avenue, Driffield, at about 7.30pm on Thursday night when he became trapped under the car.
Emergency services were called to the scene and firefighters had to use air bags to lift the car from him.
The man, who suffered severe crush injuries to his chest and head, was taken to hospital by paramedics and remains in a serious condition today.
