Man pulled samurai sword out on his neighbour after dispute which turned violent

An angry neighbour pulled a samurai sword on a man when a feud between the two turned violent.
Lee Ditchburn grabbed the metre-long blade and confronted the victim near his house in Ashington, in Northumberland, after the pair had been arguing in the street.
Prosecutors claim the 25-year-old then waved the weapon around and threatened to “slash” his neighbour and “cut him up”.
But Ditchburn denies making the threats and insists he brandished the sword in a bid to show the victim he wasn’t scared of him, a court heard.
