A man who climbed onto a roof of a city centre building has now been perched on a ledge for seven hours.
Police and firefighters are on the scene at Mosley Street with negotiators trying to appeal to the man to come down.
Passerbys have stopped to see what is going on and traffic around the city centre became heavily delayed.

When did the man get on the ledge? Police were first called to the Grey Street Hotel on the corner of Grey Street and Mosley Street at 4.21am.
