Man had to be detained by eight officers at Victoria station

A man had to be tackled by EIGHT police officers as horrified children watched on after he turned on rail staff at Victoria Station.
Melford Knight, 33, approached barrier workers aggressively, swearing and demanding to speak with a manager.
When officers overheard and stepped in, it took several of them to restrain him.
Knight, of Britannia Close, Radcliffe , pleaded guilty to a public order offence and appeared before Manchester’s magistrates this week for sentencing.
The court heard how the incident unfolded at the station back in February.
