Man found dead in London Road, Alvaston - shop owners describe their shock after incident
 

Shop owners have described their shock when they saw a police cordon around their business this morning - after a man was found dead in a Derby road.
Properties at the junction of London Road and Brighton Road, Alvaston, were taped off by police officers who had been called following reports that a man was found collapsed in the street. He was later pronounced dead.
Officers from Derbyshire police and paramedics from East Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the scene at about 6.30am.
