Man dies after 100 foot fall in Snowdonia



A man was found dead in Snowdonia after falling roughly 100 feet on Tryfan .
At about 4pm on Thursday a woman walking with three teenage boys came across the body of a man at the North Buttress area of the peak, which is adjacent to the North Gully.
The group called 999 and North Wales Police contacted Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Operation (OVMRO).
Two team members went up the 918m mountain with one then escorting the group of four safely back down at roughly 6pm and the other guiding a further group of twelve volunteers who were coming with a stretcher.
