Man cut free from car after it flips off road



A road was closed for two hours after a large vehicle crashed and flipped on to its side.
Firefighters had to cut the elderly motorist from the vehicle following the crash on the B5426 in Gyfelia, Wrexham , at 11.30am.
The man was trapped for about 45 minutes before being freed and taken to hospital.
He was taken by ambulance to Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at approximately 11.35am this morning to reports of a single-vehicle road traffic collision in Gyfelia, Wrexham.
