A man has been found guilty of murdering a popular dad-of-two in a Tyneside pub.
Michael Wilson twice punched Ronnie Howard with “full force” in the head before kicking him as he lay unconscious on the floor during a night out in The Prince Edward Pub, in South Shields, earlier this year .
The 31-year-old died within minutes, if not seconds, of the attack after he suffered a traumatic subarachnoid haemorrhage - bleeding on the brain caused by the rupture of an artery.
