Man City winger Raheem Sterling withdraws from England squad with injury
 

Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling has withdrawn from the England squad with an injury.
The 21-year-old, who has scored five goals in nine games under Pep Guardiola, has been ruled out of the Three Lions' World Cup qualifiers against Malta and Slovenia.
He was withdrawn for Leroy Sane in the 87th minute of City's 2-0 defeat to Spurs and reportedly has a slight calf problem.
Interim manager Gareth Southgate had named the in-form winger in his squad on Sunday evening, with the players due to report for training at St George's Park on Tuesday.
