Man City face grim New Year thanks to TV scheduling
Manchester City could face a grim New Year after seeing their crunch game with Liverpool pushed back.
The decision to move the game between the two title contenders back to 5.30pm on New Year's Eve has gone down badly at both ends of the M62, and the likelihood of no trains back to Manchester after the game will only exacerbate the situation.
With both teams in action at 3pm on January 2 - less than 48 hours after their Anfield meeting - Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was incredulous.
