Man arrested on suspicion of drug-driving after van crashes in Port Clarence
 

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drug-driving after a van crashed in Port Clarence .
The incident happened at around 9.15pm last night when a vehicle failed to stop for the Cleveland and Durham Road Policing Unit.
It is understood the driver of a white van crashed into bollards near Rugby Terrace and attempted to make-off on foot before being arrested.
A man was arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of possession of drugs, driving whilst unfit through drugs and no insurance.
