Man arrested on suspicion of carrying a firearm in Stockton
 

A man has been arrested on suspicion of carrying of a firearm in Stockton .
Police and an armed response unit were called to the Bowesfield area on Friday after reports of a man with a weapon.
A 24-year-old man has since been arrested and bailed pending further inquiries.
A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: “A 24-year-old man was arrested on Monday, October 3 on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear or violence, and on suspicion of dangerous driving.
“He has been bailed pending further inquiries.”
