Man arrested in Stockton after car makes off from police
 

Incidents on Teesside and County Durham A man was arrested this afternoon after a car made off from police in Stockton.
Cleveland Police attended Norfolk Street, Oxbridge, at 4.15pm after reports of damage to a vehicle.
When they arrived, a red car was driven off from police.
It was pursued and eventually came to a stop near Dovecot Street.
At least three police cars and two vans attended the incident.
A Cleveland Police spokesman said a man was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop and assault.
