Man arrested after boy, 11, 'grabbed' in Chanterlands Avenue west Hull



A man has been arrested following an attempted "child accosting" in west Hull.
An 11-year-old boy was outside Sainsbury's in Chanterlands Avenue when a man allegedly came up to him, grabbed his arm and tried to walk off with him.
The boy was able to run away and into the store. His mother told the Mail the man allegedly told her son he was a policeman before the incident.
Following a widespread picture appeal across social media, police were able to track down a 30-year-old man and arrested him just before 8am this morning.
