Man appears in court charged with Derby alleyway rape
 

A man has appeared in court charged with raping a woman in a Derby alleyway.
Ion Nastase was charged earlier today, Wednesday, October 19, with two counts of rape and one of burglary.
The charges were put to the 30-year-old car wash worker, of Derby Road, Derby, who was dressed in a grey sweatshirt and grey jogging bottoms. No pleas were entered and the case has been sent to Derby Crown Court.
Nastase is alleged to have carried out the rapes in an alleyway in Harriet Street, close to its junction with Twyford Street, in Normanton, at around 11.30pm on Saturday.
