Man admits conning 'vulnerable' 90-year-old out of thousands of pounds
 

A man has admitted to fleecing a “vulnerable” pensioner out of thousands of pounds.
Wayne Fada, 33, formerly of South Shields and Sunderland, pleaded guilty to a charge of fraud by false representation.
Newcastle Magistrates’ Court heard Fada is accused of stealing £4,083 from a 90-year-old man, who he has known for 10 years.
Prosecutor David Lee told the court the offence was committed between April and October last year.
During a brief hearing, Fada spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth, address and enter his plea.
