Man accused murder victim of staring at him before stabbing, court told

A Birmingham man allegedly asked his victim “Why are you staring at me?”, before stabbing him in the neck in an internet cafe in Smethwick a court heard.
Horace Williams, 36, died minutes after being knifed in the throat in the shop on Cape Hill, on April 16, a jury at Birmingham Crown Court heard.
Defendant Douane Brown, of Bickington Road, Bartley Green, denies murder.
The 39-year-old sobbed in the dock as the court was shown CCTV of the stabbing, which the court heard his lawyers would claim was in self-defence.
