Man, 39, appears in court over over suspected armed robbery at Ladbrokes
 

A man has appeared in court following an alleged armed robbery at a Teesside bookies.
Quentin Slater, from Yarm, has denied any involvement in the raid at a Stockton branch of Ladbrokes.
Cleveland Police said the Oxbridge Lane bookies was targeted on Monday night, and the force now say three people have now been arrested in connection with it.
One of those suspects, 39-year-old Slater, has been charged.
He appeared at Teesside Magistrates’ Court today where he was remanded in custody.
