Making a murderer: Lethal violence in humans may have been inherited from PRIMATES during evolution



While violent behaviour is known to be common in certain animals, including humans, in others it is virtually unknown.
Until now, the reasons why, have remained a mystery.
But a new study suggests that lethal violence is likely to have been inherited by humans from primates during the course of evolution.
HOW VIOLENT TRAITS EVOLVED  To understand how violent traits evolved, the researchers compiled data from over four million deaths across 1,024 mammal species, and in about 600 human populations over the last 50,000 years.
