Maker of Irn-Bru recalls thousands of bottles of juice after fears they could be turned alcoholic
 

SCOTS soft drinks giants AG Barr are recalling thousands of bottles of mango pop – because they could become alcoholic and explode.
The Irn-Bru makers are withdrawing four batches of Rubicon Sparkling Mango as fermentation has occurred in some bottles – making them slightly alcoholic.
They said: “AG Barr are withdrawing four batches of their Rubicon Sparkling Mango two-litre soft drink from the market because of signs of fermentation and the possibility that increased pressure caused by this may cause the bottle to burst.
“If drunk it is not harmful to health.”
