Major expansion as Brigg firm signs a new deal



A BRIGG firm has signed a new deal which has paved the way for a major expansion of fertiliser operations at a northern Lincolnshire port.
Thomas Bell and Sons, based on Bigby Road, will invest in a new blending unit by the quayside at the Port of Immingham, while the port's owner, ABP, which has just been nominated for a major international award, will spend £2 million on undercover storage.
That will be built at the dedicated fertiliser terminal, with a further £100,000 in infrastructure to support the new unit at Immingham Bulk Park.
