Macmillan Coffee Morning events raise thousands for cancer suffers



Thousands of pounds were raised for charity across the county today as coffee mornings were held for Macmillan.
The cancer charity's annual event saw people inviting their friends, workmates, customers and the general public to enjoy a slice of cake and a hot drink for a good cause.
At the Jewry Wall Museum in Leicester there was a lot more than just coffee on offer.
As well as a range of hot drinks and cakes to suit all diets, visitors had the chance to play croquet in the sunshine and enjoy a free tour around the former Roman bath house.
