M1 death crash driver guilty of death by careless driving
 

A lorry driver was told by a judge to "expect the worst" as he was convicted of causing the death by careless driving of a much-loved firefighter.
Scania driver Paul Bury collided with the back of Darren Bryan's slow-moving van as he drove southbound on the M1, at Junction 25 near Nuthall, on June 30 last year.
After a week-long trial, a jury found Bury not guilty of causing death by dangerous driving this afternoon, Friday, but guilty on the death by careless driving charge, and he was bailed until next Friday to be sentenced.
