Louis van Gaal considered introducing virtual reality to Manchester United training
 

Former Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal wanted to revolutionise training by introducing virtual reality headsets.
Van Gaal, who was sacked by the club in May and replaced by Jose Mourinho, came under criticism during his time at Old Trafford for his patient football philosophy and meticulous training methods.
Max Reckers, who is Van Gaal’s performance analyst who was heavily involved in criticising the Manchester United players during training, told Sportsmail that the coaching staff were mulling over the idea of introducing the headsets to training.
