London Euston to become homeless shelter for Christmas Day



Hundreds of homeless people will be able to get a Christmas lunch at Euston Station as it shuts to commuters for the festive break.
As there will be no trains running from the London station from Christmas Day until after Boxing Day, Network Rail has decided to put the building to better use for a very good cause.
The concourse will be festooned with decorations as 30 volunteers from Network Rail help run the event, reports the Birmingham Mail.
They will work alongside volunteers from homelessness charity St Mungo's and Streets Kitchen, which provides meals for 1,000 people on the streets... read more
