Llandudno Junction man cleared of attempted rape

A man accused of luring a woman to a caravan in a remote spot near Colwyn Bay before trying to rape her has been found not guilty.
Today a jury cleared Barrie Philip Hill, 49, of a charge of attempted rape following a three day trial at Caernarfon Crown Court .
After deliberating for more than four hours the jury returned a not guilty verdict.
During the trial Mr Hill of Maes Derw, Llandudno Junction was said to have taken the woman to the caravan to look at some furniture.
