Liverpool weather forecast for Friday, September 1 and looking ahead for the weekend



Autumn is starting off in fine style as the Met Office is predicting thundery showers for the North West on September 1.
Friday is set to start off dry and bright after some overnight showers at 3am. Temperatures will be a fine 14C until 9am when it will begin to climb to 16C by lunchtime.
But with lunchtime comes the increased chance of rain. Even if we do get a few showers, it should clear by late afternoon in time to give us a clear sunset.
It will remain dry through the evening and into Friday night with wind speeds of around 9mph.
