Liverpool school warned it could face being shut down over finance problems
 

The De La Salle Academy in Croxteth has been warned it must improve its financial position or face the possibility of being shut down.
A financial notice to improve, sent to the struggling Carr Lane East school earlier this month by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), sets out a series of conditions the school must meet if it is to avoid the possibility of having its £3m of annual Government funding withdrawn.
