When Liverpool GP Dr Maurice Smith talked about the benefits of just 10 minutes of activity each day it was, for me, the most powerful message to come out of the campaign Fit for Me so far.
Dr Smith, based in Allerton, said that adding 10 minutes more activity to your daily routine can quite literally transform your life by boosting confidence, reducing stress and giving you more energy.
As long as it gets your heart beating it’s working and the great thing is everyone can do it.
It’s not time consuming and doesn’t require expensive equipment or costly gym membership.
