Liverpool city centre office block to be converted into apartments
 

An empty office block in Liverpool city centre could be extended upwards and converted into apartments.
District and Urban has applied to Liverpool council to convert Crown House, the building between the First National bar and The Liverpool pub, into 23 one-bedroom apartments.
The 1950s-era building has been empty for some time and the developers insist the block would now be best used as housing rather than as offices.
