LIVE: Streets cordoned off due to underground pavement fire



Streets have been cordoned off a due to an underground pavement fire - with residents saying flames have reached 7ft high.
Police officers and firefighters are currently at the scene in Leek.
Roads have been cordoned off near the A53 - including Cruso Street and Sneyd Street.
A police spokeswoman said: "At 2.09pm we received a report that a manhole cover had exploded in Sneyd Street, Leek. Police and firefighters are in attendance. The fire service is dealing with the fire and police have blocked off the road.
