Lincs and Notts Air ambulance grounded - due to mechanical fault



The Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance has been grounded - after a mechanical fault was discovered,
Neighbouring air ambulance services have been drafted in to provide cover for the helicopter, which is soon set to be replaced with a newer model.
The new aircraft which landed in Staverton yesterday, Monday October 3, so that it could have a medical refit to turn it into a fully operational air ambulance.
The charity has said the new aircraft will make a real difference to critical patients' chances of survival during an emergency.
