Lincolnshire man dies in 500ft plunge in Lake District



A Lincolnshire man has died after falling 500ft from a hidden cave in the Lake District.
The man, 50, had planned to spend the night with eight friends in the Priest's Hole overhang on Dove Crag, near Glenridding.
A coastguard rescue helicopter, mountain rescue teams, dog handlers and mine experts attended the incident on Saturday night.
