Lincolnshire Lakes: Plans for £2m lake to go on show



PLANS for the first lake to form part of the Lincolnshire Lakes development on the outskirts of Scunthorpe are set to go on show to the public.
The £1.2 billion Lakes project is set to transform the area between the town and the River Trent and will create six new villages in waterside settings, with 6,000 new homes to be built.
Designs for the first of five planned lakes have been drawn up and £2 million funding has been secured by North Lincolnshire Council from the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) to build it.
