Lincolnshire grammar schools are failing to prioritise places for poorer children



Grammar schools in Lincolnshire are failing to set aside places for children from lower income families new data has revealed.
None of Lincolnshire's free grammar schools prioritise children who qualify for free school meals, an investigation by the BBC has revealed.
Only 73 out of the 163 existing grammar schools in England gave priority to children from poorer families in their admission policies, the research has found.
The government uses figures of children are eligible for free school meals to measure which children come from poorer families.
